Historical Society Program Videos – 2020

At our only general meeting in 2020 due to the pandemic, Dr. Hubert Van Tuyll, professor of history at Augusta University in Georgia spoke to the Montevallo Historical Society about coming to Montevallo with his family in 1966 as immigrants from the Netherlands. His father was professor of Philosophy and Religion at Alabama College and the University of Montevallo and Hubert talked about the two very different lives he lived on the "Two Sides of the Door".
